Credentials such as NVQs/SVQs, BTEC Certificates, and Diplomas, as well as foundation degrees, are available for aspiring chefs. Tasks:
A Sous Chef wears many hats in the kitchen. Your duties might involve:

    • Crafting and planning menus, seasoning, and cooking dishes or supervising their preparation to maintain consistent dish quality.
    • Managing and organising kitchen staff, possibly even overseeing the entire kitchen or specific sections of it.
    • Upholding strict hygiene and health and safety standards in the kitchen.
    • Coordinating tasks like fetching ingredients, clearing and cleaning equipment, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
